Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries
is an interfaith service that provides food and fellowship
to those in need and educates our community on hunger and poverty.
Sharing Food and Fellowship
We know that we could all end up needing a food pantry; that empathy makes us committed to being welcoming and caring. All our meals and services are free of charge.
Our six food pantries, located in Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Clinton, Madison, Old Lyme, and East Lyme, provide enough food for three meals for three days for those who attend, and those in their household. The food shared includes fresh meat, vegetables, fruit, eggs, bread, dairy, and non-perishable canned and packaged food. Residents of the eleven towns served by SSKP are welcome to attend one pantry per week. Our service area includes the towns of Essex, Chester, Clinton, Madison, Old Saybrook, East Lyme, Lyme, Old Lyme, Killingworth, Westbrook, and Deep River. Download a map of our service area here. Our community meals are located in Centerbrook, Madison, Essex, Deep River, Chester, Old Saybrook, Clinton, and Westbrook. Hot nutritious meals are prepared and served with care by volunteers. All are welcome to attend our meal sites. No registration is required.
